1865 History Museum
I recently went to the Littleton
History Museum, a charming
re-creation of an 1865 Colorado
homestead. Along with the old
fencing, old barns, animal pens, and
farm house with its fragrant
fireplace smoldering, there are lots
of animals to look at. There are the
chickens, ducks, continually-
seeking-pleasure pigs, mules, a
continually-eating horse, and sheep.
At the sheep enclosure stood a very
tiny boy peering earnestly in at
them. He stood with his little hands
on the split rail fencing, about eye
level with the sheep. Standing
beside him was his mother and, as I
walked past, I heard her say
quietly, "No, honey, those aren't
buffalo..."

Party Party Party
|
|
There are going to be
lots of parties, dinners
and fun times in the
next few months - but
maybe you don't live
near your loved ones.
One way to stay in touch
with your loved ones is
soooo easy. It's -
Freeconference.com
Use
Freeconference.com to
have a family call or a
reunion with friends.
It's a free service -
each person dials at a
prescribed time to a
(long distance) number.
Your whole group is
suddenly talking to each
other. yee ha
With no need to be in
contact with
Freeconference, go to
their web site and 1)
pick one of the 10
call-in numbers, 2)
contact your people with
the a) number to call,
b) time to call and c) a
code number you have
made up (I used a date
of birth). By computer,
no human contact needed,
anyone calling in with
the code at that time
automatically gets
connected to the call.
No worries...

Disorganized - I need
another ME
|
|
I am teaching a
course at Denver's FreeU
with this title. I think
part of why folks can't
organize all their
possessions, files,
office areas, garages,
is because, to start
with, they have too much
STUFF. Step 1 is
often to energetically
give it away, throw it
away, consign it, or
sell it. Step 2 is to
take the space you do
have and use it WELL.
There are "secret
spaces" we don't utilize
in our living and
storage areas. One of
them is under the bed.
This is the coolest
thing - bed risers.
When I did not have
enough space under my
bed for storage boxes, I
bought bed risers. I now
have SIX boxes of stuff
under there which slide
out easily, just like
drawers. Maximize your
under-bed space; this is
the LINK...

Yes, stop working.
Go, Snow Bowling,
instead. This is totally
fun; being a Minnesotan,
it particularly lit my
fire... tee hee
