Get Some Sleep
Many, many of us are suffering from
sleep deprivation, and we don't even
know it. But the National Sleep
Foundation says, "When we don't get
adequate sleep, we accumulate a
sleep debt that can be difficult to
"pay back" if it becomes too big.
The resulting sleep deprivation has
been linked to health problems such
as obesity and high blood pressure,
negative mood and behavior,
decreased productivity, and safety
issues in the home, on the job, and
on the road."
As Shakespeare said,
"Sleep...chief nourisher in life's
feast."
I urge you to check out the truly
amazing amount of information about
sleep that you can find on the
National Sleep Foundation web site.
There are links to their Sleep
Library (thundering herds of
information), Women & Sleep, Sleep
for Kids, Sleep Tips and Myths, even
sleep QUIZZES you can take.
Do yourself a favor and find some
tips that will be of help to you in
your busy life.

You Probably Need a Pony

Oh, oh, that was a
typo... I meant to say
Po-Knee.
Let me joyously
introduce you to the
coolest, most magifico,
fabulacious little toy
I've ever seen. Of
course, I'm a horse
woman and so I have a
bias...
Any little child in
your life would love
this toy. Actually the
child inside you
would love to have this
toy - to share it with
that little youngster
you love.

Reference
Librarians do.
Anyway, I think so. What
a resource. Again, what
a resource. These are
folks just waiting to
help you with
information, research,
suggestions and support.
As a Denver resident,
I'm attaching a link to
my public library web
site as an example of
what a powerful tool
these librarians can be
to you via computer live
chat, email or
telephone. Denver's site
has an area they call
"Use Smarty Pants" - a
24/7 help tool.
Remember, librarians
are part of your
community services,
waiting for you to
utilize their help. I'm
sure you are short on
time, right? So, ask for
help rather than
searching, yourself.

Stuff Stuff Stuff

To get organized,
whether it to be your
home, office, or garage,
it seems there is a
basic two-step process
required. Step 1:
Offload. The time
you take to identify
what you no longer use
or need or want is well
worth it. You can give
it away to a buddy who
will appreciate it, have
a charity come and pick
it up or drop it off at
Goodwill, sell it.
What's old to you is new
to someone else.
Step 2: What is
left of all your stuff
can then be organized. A
place for each
type of item is the key;
a place for each type of
item means containers
- lots of different
kinds of containers.
I welcome you to
Stacks and Stacks, a
site to find almost any
kind of storage
container, shelving
idea, or innovative
space solution. I hope
some of these products
will be of help in
consolidating your
stuff, stuff, stuff.
