I Have To Count to 10 !!
We're all doing a lot of things.
All the time. Tight schedule.
Run, run, run. Lots of roles to
fulfill. So, we can feel
STRESSED OUT!
My friend, relax - I have a very
"sweet" solution for you (as my
teenage nephew would say)...
I often click on a web site that
opens with soft, soft, soothing,
slow chords of beautiful music.
If I close my eyes, I can gently
count to ten - and it reminds me
to 'not sweat the small stuff'.
I'm reminded that my health and
peace are Number One. I close my
eyes, let the soft music float
over me, and count to 10. I end
up smiling, softly smiling,
every single time... "Stress, be
gone..."
When I return to work, I'm
refreshed and calmed - and it
just took a few moments.
Of course, the site is wonderful
for its content, too! This site,
ConsciousGreetings.com
offers no-cost, beautiful eCards
which I'm sure you'll enjoy
sending.
But before you ever use this
lovely site for sending an eCard,
please accept my invitation
to use it as a gentle
whenever-you- need-it Peace
Place.
MARK it as a FAVORITE for easy
access for the year 2006, ahead.

- and its beauty...

Dear Jean,
As a Virtual Assistant, I am
a resource for my successful
entrepreneurial clients. I
hope this newsletter is also
a resource - for both
business and personal life.
We all play many roles; I
hope some of the web sites I
suggest are of service in
sculpting Your Best Life.
Best wishes from the JEANius!

Thanks Heavens for
Girls
|
|
If you're an aunt, a
mom, a grandmother,
a neighbor, you are
probably an
important role model
to the greatest joy
- girls. Babies are
cute; boys are dear;
but girls hold a
special place in my
heart.
Frankly, it's
challenging to be a
woman or girl.
Income stats show we
make $.76 on the
dollar for what men
make. We can be
politically
marginized,
societally
discounted and are
often victims. So,
I'm on a roll to
help girls in this
world of negative
media deluge,
pressure marketing,
sexual pressures,
eating disorders...
Here's a helper -
the beautiful
organization of
Girls, Inc. They
are an organization
dedicated to helping
girls - they
function as an
after-school and
summer organization
to keep girls safe
and flourishing. In
their words, "Girls
Incorporated is a
national nonprofit
youth organization
dedicated to
inspiring all girls
to be strong, smart,
and bold. With
roots dating to
1864, Girls Inc has
provided vital
educational programs
to millions of
American girls,
particularly those
in high-risk,
underserved areas.
Today, innovative
programs help girls
confront subtle
societal messages
about their value
and potential, and
prepare them to lead
successful,
independent, and
fulfilling lives. "
The Girls, Inc.
web site is full of
information for you,
but the link I'm
attaching is just
one part of their
excellent site, the
TIPS they suggest
for helping you deal
with the GIRL in
your life.
Girls today are
the bedrock of our
future safe and
peaceful society.

Your Money is Yours
- Not Theirs
|
|
I'm thinking we
should spend our
money on fresh
flowers, Brie
cheese, wine, books
and new socks. So,
let's save money on
boring stuff like
AUTO INSURANCE.
(Auto Insurance
Companies- I'll try
not to get started
on my fight with
State Farm because
they won't pay my
medical bills when
their client
rear-ended me in her
huge SUV talking on
her cell phone when
all of the REST of
us were pulled over
to let an ambulance
through... I'll TRY
not to get started
on my State Farm
soap box. I'm
trying... I'm
trying... I'm
failing... "I'm
MELTING...")
Save your money for
you. Here's an
excellent link -
this site can give
you experts' advice
on a number of
topics, help you
calculate mortgage
payments, retirement
projections - all
kinds of things!
Bankrate.com is
a great site. I'm
attaching a link for
one of their many
articles, this one
on smart ways to
save money on auto
insurance.
This site is a nice
advisory site for
lots of financial
arenas. Check it
out!

As a Virtual
Assistant, I partner
with
entrepreneurs who'd
like to spend more
time performing
their expertise,
not working on
operational,
administrative, or
promotional tasks.
That's where I fit
in.
If you or someone
you know would like
to delegate tasks
that cause "the most
pain" each month, or
that are neglected
because of that
aversion - that's
where I fit in.
I invite you to

suggestions for my

overly busy people
who'd like to be
referred to me, or
just to say 'hi'.
