Your EYE Pattern when reading
WEB pages
Pack a power
punch to your web site impact by
learning how the human eye
travels across the page. Knowing
about eye patterns, you can
ensure that your most
important web content is seen
- you've placed it at the
most powerful position on the
page!
The human eye
reading pattern is an F shape!
Click on this site from Jakob
Nielsen's Alertbox showing
graphic "heat maps" of where a
reader's eye spends the most
time.
Your web
visitors do not read in a
word-by-word manner, but scan
and "jump" around the page. I
invite you to learn more about
how to maximize the impact of
each of your web pages.

Is your VOICE Active
or Passive?
|
|
Studies show that
your web site
visitors will spend
a limited amount of
time at your site -
and then dash on.
With people moving
at a fast pace - it
is vital that you
maximize the impact
of your message.
How strong is your
writing? Moreover,
is your writing
"voice" active or
passive?
Linguistically,
the active voice
is when (get ready)
"the subject
performs the action
expressed in the
verb". Would you
like that
translated?
Here it is -

Online Writing
Lab to view an

the difference
between active
and passive voice
in sentences.

Nokomis Foundation -
for Women and Girls
|
|
I was delighted to
discover this
wonderful site, a
veritable library of
information for
women and girls. It
is my understanding
that the word
Nokomis is a
Cheyenne word for
grandmother. It
seemed a charming
choice of name for
this organization,
considering that
grandmothers often
hold a "library" of
knowledge, memories
and wise advice.
There are so many
topics to browse on
this site: Teens,
Women's History,
Women and
Technology, and even
Other Organizations
of Interest to
Women! I invite you
to visit this
"library", this
"grandmother" -
Nokomis, that is...

About Jean

As a Virtual
Assistant, I partner
with
entrepreneurs who'd
like to spend more
time performing
their expertise,
not working on
operational,
administrative, or
promotional tasks.
That's where I fit
in.
If you or someone
you know would like
to delegate tasks
that cause "the most
pain" each month, or
that are neglected
because of that
aversion - that's
where I fit in.
I invite you to
contact me with
questions,
suggestions for my
newsletter, names of
overly busy people
who'd like to be
referred to me, or
just to say 'hi'.
Please email me - or
click my web site
link. Be Well!
